Day 01: Arrive Delhi (Hotel check in time at 1400 hrs)
Today arrival at Delhi airport. Our representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building after which you would be transferred to your hotel.
Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with modern. Its strategic location was the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. In fact, more mythological cities are believed to be here, like the city of Indraprastha from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, founded around 5000 BC. Numerous monuments were built over several centuries by different rulers. Later in first half of 20th century much of New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens, who laid out a grandiose central administrative area as a testament to British rule in India.

Day 02: Delhi– City Tour
Today city tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of royal Shah Jahanabad, visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar. Drive past Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.
Afternoon attention focuses on New Delhi, visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. President's House, the official residence of the President of India.

Day 03: Delhi – Amritsar
In time transfer to New Delhi Railway station to board Swarna Shatabdi Exp at 0720 hrs to Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar at 1325 hrs and transfer to hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 04: In Amritsar
After breakfast visit Golden Temple - The Golden temple is located in the holy city of the Sikhs, Amritsar. The Golden temple is famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs, Then visit Jallianwala Bagh - where, on 13th April 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.
Late noon proceed to visit Wagha Border - The international border between India and Pakistan. The pomp and pageantry of the Beating Retreat and the Change of Guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces makes for a most charming spectacle.

Day 05: Amritsar – Chandigarh (05 hrs approx)
Morning drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon Chandigarh City tour visiting Rock Garden, the place that has been captured by millions of cameras. Rose Garden is another important landmark and a part of Leisure Valley, a garland of gardens that ornaments the city and Sukhna Lake.

Day 06: In Chandigarh - Excursion to Gurudwara Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib (85 kms)
Today excursion to Gurudwara Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib in Anandpur. The 10th Sikh master, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, founded the Khalsa Panth (religion of the pure) at Takht Keshgarh Sahib, 85 km from Chandigarh.
Later back to hotel. Rest of the time at leisure.
